2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid: First Drive

Posted by Admin in January 2nd 2009

Pretend you’re an engineer at Ford. Wouldn’t you be sick and tired of hearing from Washington and the coastal media that you build junk? Don’t you wish you could plop these ignorant windbags behind the wheel of something you’ve recently worked on and ask, “So is this the uncompetitive, technologically backwards, fuel-sucking Ford ..

GM, Ford CEOs Driving to Washington in Hybrids

Posted by Admin in January 2nd 2009

Mulally, Wagoner, and Nardelli are doing quite the about-face since arriving in Washington via private jets a couple weeks ago to ask for billions in bailout funding.

2009 Fisker Karma: This Time It’s Real, Or So They Say

Posted by Admin in January 2nd 2009

The 2009 Detroit Auto Show is shaping up to be as happy as a visit to a chemo ward, but at least one automaker is bucking the trend of abandoning Cobo Hall for later shows: Fisker. The electric/hybrid carmaker–er, startup, since it hasn’t built car one–says the 2009 Detroit show will showcase the production version of its Karma ..

Cheap Gas: A Minute, an Hour, a Month, a Year?

Posted by Admin in January 2nd 2009

Gas prices have recently fallen as rapidly as GM, Ford, and Chrysler’s dwindling cash reserves: well below $2 per gallon in many areas of the country. From highs more than double that number just months ago, these petrol price vacillations are enough to make a person dizzy. Or at least bipolar.

How is it possible that one ..
